PathChooser

PathChooser is a focused decision-making app that helps users think through one situation with structure and clarity. Instead of using open-ended notes or automatic suggestions, the app guides users through three fixed reasoning paths: Fast Action, Safe, and Thoughtful.


For each path, users define the starting assumption, first likely action, short-term outcome, main risk, and reason someone would still choose it. After that, the app compares the three paths across speed, safety, and confidence, requires the user to reject two weaker options, and then commit to one final path with a written verdict and accepted tradeoff.


Every completed session is saved as a structured Path Verdict. Verdicts are stored locally on the device, remain read-only after saving, and can be revised through versioned copies instead of overwriting previous work. This helps preserve reasoning history over time.


PathChooser is designed for people who want a more deliberate way to make decisions. It is private, offline-first, and free from accounts, ads, tracking, and cloud dependency.
