DecisionWeight is a local-first trade-off reasoning app for choices that deserve more than a quick pros-and-cons list.


Start with one focused decision question, add the options you are genuinely comparing, define the factors that should influence the choice, and give each factor a clear weight. Before scoring, DecisionWeight asks you to name one non-negotiable, one flexible factor, and one acceptable sacrifice so the trade-off is visible instead of hidden inside a total score.


The app then helps you score each option, inspect the current leader, review the near winner, see where the leading option loses ground, and understand which sacrifice matters most. The Decision Integrity Review highlights whether the result looks stable or fragile, while the Sensitivity Lab lets you temporarily adjust weights to see whether a changed priority would change the leader.


When the reasoning is complete, write a short reflection and save a read-only Trade-off Card. Each card preserves the question, options, factors, weights, scoring matrix, priority stance, trade-off summaries, and final reflection. If your thinking changes later, create a linked revision instead of overwriting the original record.


DecisionWeight also generates a copyable Decision Brief from each saved card, giving you a concise summary of the outcome, priority stance, weighted totals, trade-off pressure, and final justification.


Everything is stored locally on device. There are no accounts, ads, tracking, or cloud sync.
