FocusShift

FocusShift is a calm cognitive flexibility app that helps users practice moving attention between changing priorities. Each session presents a structured case with competing elements, then guides the user through several target shifts. Users organize ideas into foreground, background, and deprioritized zones while keeping the full context visible.


The app is designed for thoughtful practice rather than speed, scores, or streaks. Users build a Focus Trace that records how their attention changed across the session, what stayed relevant, what became less important, and where fixation appeared. Saved traces can be reviewed later to notice patterns in focus, planning, perspective switching, and decision making.


Focus Shift includes curated practice modes for signal changes, rule exceptions, actor perspectives, and goal conflicts. It is useful for learners, professionals, and anyone who wants a structured way to practice flexible thinking, reflective planning, and attention reallocation.
