⏱️ WHAT IS Fortune Interval?

Fortune Interval is a native Android interval timer for structured work and rest cycles. Whether you follow Tabata, HIIT, EMOM, a Pomodoro rhythm, or a custom plan, Fortune Interval keeps every phase visible on one clear screen. Open the app, pick a preset or build your own, and start in seconds. No account is needed for timer features — your presets and session history are saved locally on your device.

🏠 HOME AND QUICK START

The home hub is your starting point. Tap Quick Start to launch your last-used preset instantly. From the same screen open Presets, History, Settings, or How It Works. Fortune Interval remembers your last preset so your next session is one tap away.

🔄 PHASE ENGINE

Each session follows a precise sequence: Prepare, Work, Rest, optional Set Rest between sets, and Cooldown at the end. Phases with zero duration are skipped automatically. The engine tracks rounds and sets separately. A circular progress ring shows remaining time in MM:SS format with colors that change by phase: Prepare, Work, Rest, Set Rest, Cooldown, and Done.

⏸️ SESSION CONTROL

Use Pause and Resume to hold the clock without losing your place. Skip moves to the next phase when you want to advance early. The Stop button ends a session with a confirmation dialog and saves progress as incomplete. Fortune Interval excludes paused time from total duration, so history reflects actual active time.

🏃 SPORT PRESETS

Ready-made sport presets included in Fortune Interval:

• Tabata — 5s prepare, 20s work, 10s rest, 8 rounds, 30s cooldown • HIIT Classic — 10s prepare, 40s work, 20s rest, 10 rounds, 60s cooldown • EMOM — 5s prepare, 60s work, no rest between rounds, 10 rounds • Warmup Flow — 10s prepare, 30s work, 15s rest, 6 rounds, 20s cooldown

Each preset row shows work seconds, rest seconds, and round count before you start.

🧠 PRODUCTIVITY PRESETS

• Pomodoro — 25-minute work, 5-minute rest, 4 rounds • Focus Sprint — single 50-minute work session • Quick Break — 15-minute work, 3-minute rest, 4 rounds

Use these for study blocks, deep work, or scheduled breaks without entering durations manually each time.

✏️ CUSTOM PRESETS

Tap the add button on the Presets screen to create a custom preset. Set prepare, work, rest, cooldown, rounds, sets, and rest between sets. Long-press any custom preset to edit it. Built-in presets cannot be deleted from the list. Work must be at least one second; rounds and sets must be at least one.

📋 LIST OF PRESETS

All timers are sorted by category and name. Tap any preset to start; Fortune Interval saves it as your last choice for Quick Start. Custom presets are labeled separately from Sport and Productivity built-ins.

📊 SESSION HISTORY

After every session Fortune Interval saves a record: preset name, date and time, active duration, rounds completed, and whether the session finished or was stopped early. Review past sessions in a scrollable list, newest first. Clear all history with a confirmation step.

✅ RESULTS SCREEN

When a session ends, see status, formatted duration, and rounds completed. Tap Repeat to run the same preset again. Tap Home to return to the main hub.

⚙️ SETTINGS

Fortune Interval keeps settings simple. Toggle Keep Screen On to prevent the display from dimming during an active timer session. Your preference is saved between launches.

The How It Works screen explains preset selection, phase order, rounds and sets, Pause, Skip, and Stop controls, history, and settings in plain English.

🎨 INTERFACE

Neon-inspired gradient theme, card-style lists, and large touch-friendly buttons. The timer screen shows a custom circular progress ring with bold monospace digits, preset name, phase label, and round and set counters. Portrait layout with padded headers on all screens.

📱 NATIVE ANDROID TIMER

Fortune Interval is built with native Android screens and a custom Canvas timer view. Presets and sessions are stored in a local database on your device.
