Focnera: App Blocker & Focus

Protect your attention and make focus easier with Focnera.

Focnera helps you block distracting apps, create automatic Focus Schedules, understand your screen time, and build better routines around what matters.

Focus Schedules

Create recurring time windows that automatically protect selected apps.

Set up schedules for your morning routine, work hours, study time, family time, evenings, or any other part of your day where you want fewer distractions.

Choose:
• The days your schedule repeats
• Start and end times
• Apps you want to block
• An optional reminder message

Schedules can also run overnight, so you can protect your evening and morning routine automatically.

Block distracting apps

Choose apps that tend to pull your attention away.

During an active focus session or Focus Schedule, Focnera helps keep those selected apps out of the way so you can stay with what matters.

Start intentional focus sessions

Choose what you want to focus on, select distracting apps, choose a duration, and protect time for your intention.

When your protected time ends, reflect on whether you completed your intention, made progress, or still have more to do.

7-Day Focus Reset

Take on a personal challenge to complete seven protected focus sessions during your seven-day reset.

More than one completed session can count on the same day, so you can complete the challenge in a way that fits your routine.

Understand your screen time

See how much time you spend on your device and which apps take most of your attention.

Use these insights to identify distractions and decide where you want stronger digital boundaries.

Track your progress

Review:
• Protected focus time
• Completed intentions
• Focus sessions
• Recent session history

Focnera can help with:
• Morning routines
• Deep work
• Studying
• Work hours
• Family time
• Reducing social media distractions
• Creating distraction-free routines
• Building more intentional phone habits

Your focus, your way

Create schedules that fit your day, start manual focus sessions whenever you need them, and pause an active schedule when your plans change.

Focnera is designed to make digital boundaries clear and practical without turning productivity into another complicated system.

Choose what matters. Protect the time for it.

AccessibilityService use

On Android, Focnera uses Android's Accessibility Service to support app blocking during user-started focus sessions and enabled Focus Schedules.

While Accessibility is enabled, Focnera accesses the package name/identity of the app currently in the foreground. It compares that app with the apps you selected for blocking and displays Focnera's blocking screen when there is a match.

Focnera does not use AccessibilityService to read screen content, messages, passwords, or keyboard input; inspect accessibility nodes; perform gestures; change device settings; or control other apps.

Accessibility information used for app blocking is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted or shared.

Screen Time on Android

Android Usage Access is used to calculate today's screen time and show your most-used apps. This information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted or shared.
