2024-05-10	Ma*****	This app used to be good, and that's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. I used this in 2019-2021, and even back then, the customer service wasn't all that, but it was bearable. Upon receiving the mail of their closing, I've tried to withdraw the balance I had in my account several times on different occasions (days), and every time, my attempts have been futile.

2024-03-21	Jo*****	For the past few weeks my account number on barter refuse to show on receiving end... it keeps saying account not valid, had to check the number at least twice to be sure I didn't make a mistake. same thing! I didn't come here to come n say anything bad about the service cos na top-notch. already contacted support. if it can be sorted let me know, if it can't na to delete app move on. fish choke. t for thanks#

2022-09-10	Ar*****	I signed up on this app to get a virtual card for international transactions but that never happened because the service, though advertised, is unavailable on Barter. Then i tried to delete my account and it turns out you can't do that from the app. Such bad user experience. You've got to email them before they "deactivate" your account.

2022-07-28	Op*****	Since I installed this app, I haven't been able to use it, it's just crashing after I sign in, I tried installing it and reinstalling but it didn't work. Please help fix this. The app is now working after I turned off my device dark mode. You guys should fix this because dark mode shouldn't be making your app crash. Nice app 👌👍

2022-06-23	He*****	Just checked out the app. Nice app. Web version is just a NO-NO! Don't even bother going to the web version. As for the mobile app, I'm impressed with how fast the local naira transfers go, both inbound and outbound. Dollar card too expensive, exchange rate is at par with street rates at best, and sometimes higher. I'd expect the app owners would have offered exchange rates well below street rates even if above bank rates. This is the real market they are missing.

2022-06-09	Ab*****	The App is great. I wanted to open a domiciliary account before, but on hearing about the app, I simply stopped it since I could do what I wanted with the app. My problems: 1. It should have security lock or password against unwanted access. 2. When you buy $ to your card, and want to convert back to naira, the difference is too much.

The virtual card works perfectly, deposits and withdrawals take no more than a few seconds. Verification takes seemingly no time at all, I recieved the verification code instantly. What else is there to ask for? Most importantly my site is on air with AWS S3 due to the virtual card. Keep up the good work barter!!!

As at March 2, 2021 I am updating my review to reflect my better understanding of the app. Initially, I was frustrated at the hassle of loading my balance. That was me being ungrateful . Really, it is much less stressful than trekking and queueing at the ATM. I treat this as a mobile wallet for small transactions I want to quickly complete. It is perfect for that.

But I will love it if there is a way one can manage beneficiaries, cause it happens that anytime you make a transaction the account details save automatically. Leaving you with lots of accounts details to deal with, which sometimes result to error transfer.

My first time using the app. Downloaded it, installed, funded my account, got a dollar card, and paid for my transaction and everything went smoothly and seamlessly within a few minutes. Was initially doubtful about using it cos of the reviews I saw, but decided to try it and my experience with them was fantastic. (At least as at today August 27, 2020). Thumbs up to the team and great job. Pls do keep it up.
