Color Click

Color Click is a color-matching game built around one clear task: look at the target shade and tap the matching color from four choices before the timer runs out.

Each round shows a large color sample in the center of the screen with the message "Match this color!" Below it, four rounded color buttons appear in a 2×2 grid. The buttons have no text labels, so the match is based on visual color comparison.

🎨 CORE GAMEPLAY

Tap Play on the start screen to start a new session.

A target color swatch appears above the answer grid.

Four color choices appear below it.

Tap the button that matches the target shade.

A correct tap adds points and counts towards the current level progress.

A wrong tap removes one life.

If the timer reaches zero before an answer is selected, one life is also removed.

Each run begins with three lives. When all three lives are gone, the run ends and the Game Over result screen appears.

The main loop stays simple:

• View the target color
• Compare four choices
• Tap the matching color
• Gain points after correct answers
• Protect the remaining lives
• Continue until the run ends

🕹️ TOUCH CONTROLS

Color Click uses tap controls only.

Tap Play to start.

Tap one of the four color buttons to answer.

Tap Play Again after the result screen to return to the start flow.

There are no swipe controls, drag gestures, tilt controls, keyboard inputs, or extra control systems during play.

⏱️ TIMER AND LIVES

A visible timer bar shows the remaining time for the current round.

Higher levels use shorter round timers:

• Levels 1-2: 6 seconds per round
• Levels 3-4: 5 seconds
• Levels 5-6: 4 seconds
• Levels 7-8: 3.5 seconds
• Levels 9-10: 3 seconds

Lives are shown as heart icons on the gameplay screen.

Wrong answers and timeouts each remove one life.

The session continues while at least one life remains.

📈 LEVELS AND DIFFICULTY

Color Click includes 10 levels.

The level is displayed during gameplay as Lv X/10.

A purple level progress bar tracks correct answers on the current level.

After five correct matches, the game advances to the next level.

Difficulty changes in two ways:

• Round timers become shorter at higher levels
• Wrong options become closer to the target shade

Early levels use more clearly different colors. Later levels can include similar shades from the same color family, including reds, blues, greens, yellows, purples, and teals.

🏆 SCORE AND RESULTS

Every correct answer adds points.

Point values ​​depend on the current level range:

• Levels 1-3: 10 points per correct answer
• Levels 4-6: 15 points
• Levels 7-8: 20 points
• Levels 9-10: 30 points

When the run ends, the results screen shows:

• Final score
• Level reached
• Correct answers
• Wrong answers
• Personal high score

If the session reaches a new personal high score, the results screen can show a New Record message.

The personal high score is also used for comparison with later runs.

✨ VISUAL STYLE

Color Click uses a clean color-focused layout.

Rounded color blocks use white borders so the options remain visible.

The score, lives, and current level remain visible during gameplay.

A purple level progress bar and a red timer bar show progress and remaining round time.

The start screen includes gradient buttons and a logo.

The layout keeps the target swatch, answer buttons, timer, lives, score, and level information readable on phone screens.

🔄 SESSION FLOW

Each session starts with three lives and level one.

Colors shuffle each round, and shade difficulty changes as levels increase.

After Game Over, Play Again allows another run from the start screen.

Color Click focuses on color comparison, timed choices, level progress, score tracking, and simple tap controls.
