Location History Explorer lets you import a Google Maps Timeline export and explore where you have been over months or years. View your movements as paths, route points and heatmaps, filter the displayed period, switch between map styles and create animated map stories.

PRIVACY-FOCUSED

Imported location-history files are processed locally on your device. The app does not require an account, contains no advertising and does not upload your imported location-history file to developer-operated servers.

To display the background map, the app loads map tiles and related resources from third-party map providers for the areas you view. See the Privacy Policy for details.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Export your Timeline data, open the exported file in Location History Explorer and select the period and visualization style you want to explore.
