Swoosh

Swoosh puts your apps, widgets, and system actions on the edge of the screen, a thumb's reach away.

Pull in from the left or right edge and a fan of slots opens under your thumb. Release on one to run it. Every slot is yours to assign: launch an app, open a favorites panel, bring up a widget panel, or run a system action.

One-Handed by Design

Permissions
Swoosh needs a few permissions that you grant yourself in system settings. The app walks you through each one on first run, and everything else works if you skip one.

- Display over other apps: draws the edge handles on top of whatever you are using.
- Accessibility service: Swoosh uses Android accessibility access to perform the system actions you assign (Back, Home, Recents, notification shade, Quick Settings, power menu, screen lock, screenshot) after your direct gesture or tap, and to detect which app is in the foreground - its package name only - so handles can hide in apps you exclude. Swoosh does not read, collect, store, or share screen content, and never records your app history. Actions are never started on their own.
- Usage access: reads Android usage statistics on demand to order the recent-apps switcher and Previous app. Swoosh does not store or share your usage history.

Privacy
Swoosh has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere. No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no tracking. Your configuration stays in app-private storage on your device.
