EnviroDNA Field App is the essential companion for environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling teams. Designed for researchers, ecologists, and field technicians, this app streamlines metadata collection at sample sites—even in remote locations without internet.

Instantly populate sample details by scanning EnviroDNA kit labels. No manual entry errors, no wasted time.

• GPS Auto-Capture
Automatically record precise latitude and longitude coordinates for every sample. Location data is captured with a single tap.

• Offline-First Design
Collect data anywhere—forests, wetlands, rivers—without network coverage. All entries are stored locally and sync when you're back online.

• Full Sync
Push local samples to the server and pull updates from your team. Stay synchronized across multiple devices and field crews.

• Project-Based Workflow
Switch between projects seamlessly. Each project maintains its own sample list, sites, and sample types.

• Copy & Replicate
Quickly duplicate an entry for replicate samples. The app auto-increments the replicate number and clears the kit ID, ready for the next tube.

• Secure Login
Authenticate with your EnviroDNA account using a simple QR code—no typing passwords in the field.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Log in by scanning your personal QR code.
2. Select your project.
3. Tap "New Entry" and scan the kit label QR code.
4. Confirm or adjust site, sample type, value, and unit.
5. Tap "Save" to store locally—or "Copy" for replicates.
6. When online, use "Full Sync" to upload and download samples.

PERMISSIONS

• Camera – Required to scan QR codes for login and kit labels.
• Location – Required to capture GPS coordinates for sample sites.
• Internet – Used to sync samples with the EnviroDNA server.

DATA & PRIVACY
