Field Diary is a professional field data collection app built for geologists, researchers, and environmental scientists working in remote terrain where network connectivity is unavailable.

All data is stored entirely on-device. No internet connection is required to record, view, or export your field data.

FEATURES

Site Recording
Record detailed information for each field site including site name, GPS coordinates, elevation, and GPS accuracy. Coordinates can be fetched automatically via high-accuracy GPS or entered manually, making the app reliable even under heavy forest canopy or in deep valleys where satellite lock is difficult.

Observations
Write detailed field observations and geological notes for each site using the built-in notes editor.

Photo Capture
Capture and attach photos directly from your device camera. Photos are saved locally and linked to the site record automatically.

Audio Notes
Record voice notes and dictations for each site. Audio is saved locally and can be played back from the dashboard at any time.

Dashboard
View all recorded sites in a clean, organized list. Play back audio notes or delete records directly from the dashboard.

PDF Export
Generate professional PDF reports from your site records and share them via email, Google Drive, or any other app on your device.

Data Export
Export images and audio files from selected sites and share them individually or in bulk.

WHO IS THIS FOR
Field Diary is built for professionals and researchers who need a reliable, offline data collection tool in challenging environments. It is currently being used in geological and ecological research in the Western Ghats biodiversity hotspot.

PRIVACY
All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server. Location, camera, microphone, and storage permissions are used solely for field data collection and are never shared with third parties.
