Ponderanda: Daily Math Puzzle

Five problems. Once a day. The same five for everyone.

Ponderanda is a daily mental arithmetic puzzle. Every day at midnight UTC one ladder of five problems is generated, and it is the same ladder for every player in the world. You get one attempt.

A wrong answer ends the day. That is not a punishment — the thing being recorded is that you turned up, not that you were perfect.

NO TIMER ON THE SCREEN
Visible time pressure measurably degrades performance in people who are anxious about maths, which is exactly who this is for. Your solve time is recorded quietly and shown to you later, never while you are thinking.

MISSING A DAY IS FREE
Rest days are automatic and cost nothing. There is no streak to buy back, no notification telling you what you have lost, and no countdown.

THE WHOLE BACK CATALOGUE, FREE AND UNCAPPED
Every past day stays playable. Eight practice paths let you drill one skill at a time — addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the mixed ladders — for as long as you like, with no daily cap.

WHAT IT WILL NOT CLAIM
Ponderanda does not make you smarter. It will not improve your focus, your memory, or your general intelligence. What it can do is narrower and actually measurable: you get faster at the maths you practise, and after enough days the app tells you by how much. It stays quiet until it has enough data to say something true.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
No account. No sign-in. No sync. Your answers, times, streaks and settings are stored on your device and are never uploaded. When you finish a day, the app adds one to a shared counter so it can tell you what share of players stopped at the same problem — that counter records nothing that identifies you.
