Mathness — Daily Math Puzzle

Mathness is a math puzzle game you can finish in two minutes.

Every day at midnight UTC, everyone in the world gets the same daily puzzle: five numbers, one target. Combine the numbers using +, −, ×, and ÷ to get as close to the target as you can. One shot. No second tries.

When you're not playing the daily, play unlimited solo rounds against the global leaderboard — fresh puzzle every time. Or challenge a friend to a head-to-head 1v1 match: same puzzles, side-by-side scores, persistent rivalry.

HOW IT SCORES

Every round scores across seven dimensions (max 2,530):
• Accuracy — exact match wins, near-miss scales with distance
• Magnitude — bigger targets pay more
• Speed — faster finish, more points (120-second window)
• Numbers — using more of the five available is worth more
• Elegance — solving with fewer numbers is rewarded too (real strategic trade-off)
• Difficulty — harder puzzles pay a multiplier
• Variety — using all four operators (+ − × ÷) earns the variety bonus

THREE MODES

DAILY — One shared puzzle for everyone, one shot per day. Keep your streak alive.

SOLO — Unlimited fresh rounds. Climb the global all-time, weekly, and 24-hour boards.

1V1 — Challenge a friend to a Best of 10 or Ongoing match. Pick the difficulty (easy / medium / hard) and the win condition (highest score or most puzzles won).

PRIVACY

We collect the minimum to run your account — email, display name, scores. We don't sell your data, don't show ads, don't track you across other apps. Full policy at www.mathnessapp.com/privacy.

You can delete your entire account from inside the app at any time (Settings → Delete account). One tap, gone forever.
