Users find the Official Comic-Con App helpful for accessing schedules and maps, but commonly face significant problems including login and sync failures, poor readability due to background images, and missing functionality like event filtering and sorting. The app is often buggy, crashes, and performs worse than previous versions, leading some users to prefer printed schedules. While some improvements have been made, issues persist, especially for Android users, diminishing the overall experience.

Avantages

App provides schedule and event information for Comic-Con and related events.
Ability to sync and save schedule information is useful when it works.
Maps and directions within the convention center are helpful when functioning properly.
Previously, the app has been helpful and had useful features for event navigation.
Occasionally includes useful reminders and notifications for scheduled events.

Inconvénients

Frequent login and sync issues prevent schedule synchronization with the website (MySched).
Poor usability due to difficult-to-read text caused by a busy or transparent background image.
Lack of key features such as viewing events by room or venue, and inability to sort favorites chronologically.
Unstable performance including crashes and update/download failures, especially close to or during the event.
Poor or missing support for Android users compared to the iOS version, such as lack of dark mode or filtering options.

glitchy af. the concept of the app is great but half the time it just flashes black and white at you and then the other half of the time it insists on downloading an update for the 8th time that day while you're in a crowded concrete building with not even 1 bar of 4g. I wish it worked because it would be so helpful. it is helpful if you're sitting at home on wifi planning for the next day. I'd give it at least 3 stars if it had an offline mode instead of forcing you to download an update.

I'm trying to use the schedule portion. whoever decided to have the scroll wheel be clickable like that should be fired. I keep trying to view more information on panels but I keep clicking the scrolling bar next to it... unfortunately if I switch to the left side, the star feature isn't very good at working properly.
