EBI Space: Screen Time & Focus

You meant to watch one short video, but an hour passed. That’s Time Blindness: slipping unconsciously into endless Reels, Shorts, TikTok feeds, and games.

🚫 Not a Traditional Blocker App blockers abruptly lock you out. Screen-time trackers show charts after the hours are gone. EBI Space takes a different approach: Real-time awareness. Instead of taking control away, EBI Space keeps the passing of time visible while you scroll and uses gentle interventions to help you make intentional decisions.

⚡ One Choice. Automatic Tracking. EBI Space automatically detects supported social media and games, placing them under one shared daily budget. No tedious setup per app. Choose your budget: • 🧘 30 Min — Clear Mind • 🌱 1 Hour — Healthy Balance • 💭 2 Hours — Scattered Focus • 🤯 4 Hours — Cognitive Overload • 🔓 Off — No limit

🔒 Prevents App-Hopping When one app is restricted, it’s easy to open another. In EBI Space, all monitored apps share the same budget. Switching from a social feed to a game does not reset your timer. App-hopping won't bypass your limit.

⏳ Live Floating Timer A subtle floating capsule stays visible while you use monitored apps: • Shows elapsed time in real time. • Changes from white → orange → red as you approach your budget. • Displays overtime if you continue beyond your limit. • Keeps your sense of time alive without blocking the screen.

🎨 Neuro-Dull™ — Gradual Visual Desaturation Bright colors increase engagement and reward-driven usage loops. Neuro-Dull™ gradually reduces screen saturation as you reach 80% to 100% of your daily budget, smoothly shifting toward a muted monochrome. It reduces the visual pull of the feed, creating sensory distance from automatic scrolling.

🍃 Mindful Reflection When your budget is reached, EBI Space doesn't lock you out. A calm reflection screen allows you to pause and choose: stop, or continue while seeing your overtime. We support awareness without taking away your autonomy.

🤖 AI Behavioral Coach Powered by Google Gemini, EBI Space provides concise reflections based on your daily usage and behavioral signals. Use the Insight Dashboard to review trends and changes in your digital habits.

💡 Who Is EBI Space For? • You lose track of time on Reels, Shorts, or TikTok. • You switch apps to bypass traditional limits. • You dislike harsh blockers and forced lockouts. • You want to see time passing live, not in a next-day report.
