| 2024-12-29 | Well, it took something like 2 years but the software now seems to work with Eargo 6s on the Pixel 6 Pro. Pretty unhappy with the very poor Android support. Update: Dec 2024. Batteries failed again (only lasting 2--4 hours). After some useless trouble shooting with support they tell me I'm out of warranty but can buy new ones. First set of units were replaced due to battery failure after ~1 year. These only lasted about 1.5 years... Not impressed. | ||

| 2024-06-11 | When I purchased the devices, it worked alright, but I had a hard time. Programming them and them staying programmed. They go out of programming all the time, so therefore I'd have to always do a hearing test every couple days Now I have had them for couple years. I don't wear nothing because they're aggravating. And I can't figure out how to do them, right. They need to update the app to see how many levels you're turning it up-and-down. | ||

| 2024-02-11 | The app no longer works at all. i understand it was just changed. As a fix, start by firing the people that released the latest app. I'm required to log in, but I get, essentially, a blank screen. I can't get passed that to change volume settings, or to program the devices. I called support. She couldn't help and put me on hold. Eventually, my call got dropped. I have an Android phone, Eargo-6. The app used to work. Now nothing works. This is a big problem. CAN YOU HEAR ME? | ||

| 2023-12-27 | Having a lot of difficulty with the app it will connect to the device get part way through an update and stop leaving an error message to try again which yields the same results. The devices seem to work ok sound quality isn't the best but I imagine that is a result of not being able to complete the sound match. There is also no visual representation of the volume level in the app which is unfortunate. I want to like the product but the app makes them largely unusable. Will update if resolved. | ||

| 2023-10-11 | App connects to charger, but fails during update at 3 min. Reinstalled app with same result. Called tech support and was told the issue would be sent to software support and she would call me back in about an hour, that was 6 hours ago...I am unable to use the app, because it won't allow me to get past updating. There is no download page on their website, or tools available for troubleshooting. I'm also less than thrilled with their website. Day 2 and so far unimpressed. | ||

| 2023-07-25 | Very buggy, very glitchy software. Initially, the app said the charger battery was too low to update, even when it had charged for 5+ hours. I connected to wifi the next day (instead of just LTE) and everything worked. Secondly, the Sound Match is TERRIBLY buggy: you need to hit the replay button at least 2-4x to hear even the loud prompts. Definitely needs work | ||

| 2023-03-22 | The recent update has made the experience of using the remote feature to change volume, mute and everything else much easier. The last versions had us turn the volume down to 6% and required is to hold the phone very close. Now the App instructs us to turn the volume up to a minimum of 60% and we can finally use the remote from a distance. I have good hearing and can now here a static noise from the speakers, so that's what communicates. Thanks again. | ||

| 2023-03-12 | I had similar problems to others. I had to figure out to point my phone's speaker towards my ears. I believe I also solved the charger connection problem by going to a corner of my house far away from any computer or Bluetooth device. Lastly, it was failing to do a Bluetooth update after 15 seconds. Instead of putting both aids in at the same time, I put them back in one at a time about 10 seconds apart and then it was able to do a full synch. Hope this helps others and wasn't just random luck! | ||

| 2023-03-07 | The hearing aids are good, after a day of use. There are a few things that prevented me from giving 5 stars here, however. 1) Pairing took several attempts. BT would connect, but the app would indicate "failed to connect." 2) When updating the preset programs, pressing apply/save will make it appear as though it locked up. It eventually saves the changes, but it takes a minute. 3) There are no visual results from the "sound match" feature. It'd be nice to see the results of the hearing test. | ||

| 2023-02-23 | I bought the Eargo 6 in Jan. a and it did work, but it needed some help to set up in order to start using the app. I really liked the fact that they did not interfere with my glasses as my over the ear hearing aids did. Great engineering work ... I learned about the Eargo 7, so I turned in the Eargo 6 for the Eargo 7 ... all I can say is WOW !!! A real sound test and the ability to set volume, tone, and assorted other features. I now have to tell my wife to talk softer ... great job Eargo ... | ||
