User Reviews

Users widely praise Yoga | Down Dog for its deep customization, broad variety of poses/types, and beginner-friendly design, plus long-term reliability and a motivating, trainer-like experience. The main recurring drawback across opinions is the pricing model: a relatively high cost and the perception of limited trial access, which can deter potential users. Overall, the app is valued for personalization and breadth of content, but cost remains the prominent friction point.

Pros

Extensive customization: users can tailor workouts by experience level, yoga type, target body parts, as well as music and voice guidance to fit personal preferences.
Rich variety of options: the app offers many poses, multiple yoga types, and levels, with additions like flexibility and cardio yoga to keep routines fresh.
Beginner-friendly and easy to follow: suitable for newcomers and simple to start, with clear guidance.
Reliability and longevity: users report long-term use (years) and continued improvements, indicating dependable value over time.
Motivating and trainer-like experience: feels like a personal trainer, helping users stay active and consistent with their practice.

Cons

Pricing and subscription model can be costly and may require payment to access content, with some users desiring a free trial or more flexible options.

Recent reviews

ok. I am revising this review. As they advised, I purchased this program on their website rather than on here. They did not apply the payment right away to my account. I initiated a refund with my credit card and gave them bad reviews. After about 8 days went by, they finally responded to me and made it right. I changed this review from a one-star to a three-star. I really like this app a lot, but the customer service leaves so much to be desired. They really need to fix their response time.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, this is the best app I have. You saved me and my back. You can choose any workout time, music, voice, direction — it's just a miracle. I'm from Russia and this is very difficult, but you treated simple people with understanding and I am very grateful to you.
