Use it for in-person verification (Keypass for age‑restricted venues in some states), and online tasks like mail redirection, police checks, or opening a bank account with participating organisations across Australia.

Note: Australia Post is exiting the Digital iD service, with closure planned for 30 April 2026. The app has accessibility notes (dark mode unavailable; greyscale can help). does what it says on the box, and their data retention and usage policies read as following industry best practice which is good to see (your details are never shared and are stored as an encrypted value. When a verification request is made, the requestor values are encrypted and compared to see if the values match, so for example your actual address is never stored or shared).
