BrainRot Doctor: Scroll Detox

BrainRot Doctor is a digital wellbeing app that helps you understand and reduce time spent
watching short-form video. It detects supported short-video feeds, keeps a daily count, shows a
live counter, and helps you follow limits that you choose.

SET LIMITS THAT FIT YOU

Create goals based on the number of short videos watched, time spent in selected apps, or both.
Choose a gentle reminder, an activity challenge, or a firm on-screen limit. BrainRot Doctor only
applies the goals and enforcement level that you configure.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS

Review daily and weekly short-video counts and app-usage time. An optional floating counter shows
your progress while you watch, and notifications can warn you when you approach a limit.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

BrainRot Doctor uses Android's AccessibilityService API for its core digital-wellbeing features.
When you voluntarily enable the service, it receives window-change, screen-content-change, and
scroll events. It briefly inspects app package names, view identifiers, and limited on-screen text
or content descriptions to:

- recognize when a supported short-video feed is visible;
- distinguish a new short video from other content and update your count;
- measure time spent in apps covered by goals you create; and
- display the counter, reminders, activity challenges, or blocking overlay required by your
selected limit.

Accessibility access is not used to read passwords or messages, capture screenshots, record audio,
make purchases, click buttons, change device settings, or interact with content on your behalf.
Screen content inspected for detection is processed in the moment and is not stored or shared.
BrainRot Doctor stores only derived usage information, such as short-video counts and time spent.
If you choose to sign in and join the optional Battle leaderboard, your aggregate weekly
short-video count is stored in the cloud and shown to your Battle friends; raw screen content and
detailed daily or per-app history are never uploaded.

Accessibility access is optional, requires your explicit consent, and can be turned off at any
time in Android Settings. Detection, counting, and limit enforcement will not work while it is off.
BrainRot Doctor is a digital wellbeing tool and is not an accessibility tool for people with
disabilities.

PRIVACY

Your detailed detection and usage history stays on your device. BrainRot Doctor never stores the
videos you watch, screenshots, keystrokes, passwords, private messages, or payment information.
The optional Battle feature shares only the aggregate weekly count described above. See the
