Desho.Browser

Desho Browser is a lightweight, privacy-first web browser for Android. It is built on Android System WebView, the same rendering engine that powers Chrome, and adds the tools people actually use every day — without collecting anything about you.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
• History, bookmarks and settings stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any server we control.
• Built-in ad blocking filters banner, interstitial and video ad networks while you browse.
• Incognito mode stops saving history and page titles as soon as it is on.
• No accounts, no sign-in, no email required. Nobody can see what you browse, including us.

BROWSING THAT FEELS FAST
• Minimal address bar that doubles as a search field for Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo.
• Multi-tab browsing with a card-based switcher — open, close and jump between pages in a tap.
• Desktop mode loads the full desktop version of any site.
• Back, forward, reload, home and the tab switcher sit in one bottom bar.

SCAN AND GO
• The QR button in the address bar opens the camera scanner. Point it at any QR code or barcode and Desho Browser takes you there — or scans a picture of one from your gallery.

VIDEO, HANDLED
• A built-in player opens HTML5 and streaming links with full controls.
• Desho Browser watches the page you are on and surfaces a “videos available” button when it finds streams, listing quality, size and duration so you can pick one or save it.
• Downloads manager for files, images and videos: open, open with another app, rename, re-download, view details, delete — and extract the audio track of a downloaded video as MP3.

COMFORTABLE AT ANY HOUR
• Material Design 3 with dynamic colour, so the interface matches your phone’s wallpaper on Android 12 and above.
• Light mode, dark mode and follow-system themes, plus a dark overlay that dims bright pages at night.
• English, Arabic and Persian interfaces.

Permissions are limited to what the features above need: internet access for browsing, camera for the QR scanner, and notifications for download progress. Nothing else is requested.

Desho Browser is free to use and supported by advertising shown through Google AdMob. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android Google settings.
