At the heart of the app stands the Sewing Bench, where you assemble a text block for real: choose a sewing structure, set the number of signatures, the sheet caliper and the thread you plan to use, and the bench honestly reports spine swell, finished spine thickness, the board size you must cut, the length of thread to spin off and whether the volume will open flat — with a plain warning when the swell runs away from you.
