| 2023-11-05 | No notifications that you switched to a new app? Half way through a 1500 mile trip it just stopped working properly. I disconnected everything and reinstalled the app - only to find out I now need a new app. Once the new app (OneControl Auto) was installed it worked normally. Not a fan of having to register with the new app and having to allow it use my location. There is no benefit to me - so now I guess I'm the product. I'll be upgrading to a hard line system, from someone else due to this. | ||

| 2023-06-19 | Very disappojnted in the app and the hardware. Together, there is a constant error or hangups or problem. Always as 1 to 3 second latency to react. After thousands of miles, it only really works right about 10% of the time and NEVER able to manual brake when really need it. It does brake (at least most of the time, as sometimes really hard to tell under heavy load). The app freezes and bluetooth looses connection, they cant find each other for pairing, and other error messages happen. | ||

| 2023-05-20 | Relatively easy to install and pair to the trailer brake, though I can see why some were baffled. During pairing, the app reports "connection failed" and the instructions don't mention that a background notification will appear asking for the pin to pair. Once I figure that out, the connection was solid. Brakes worked with the app and everything reconnected easily when I got back in the car for a second day of driving. One star off for poor directions. | ||

| 2022-10-25 | After an initial agreement with many on connectivity issues, I believe I figured it out at least for my device. I had location turned off on my phone. As soon as that was on, i was able to link to the device. I pulled a heavy(for my car) camper with no issues. I didn't get a ton of time to play around an dial in settings, but was able to adjust the output to be suitable for my vehicle setup. | ||

| 2022-10-19 | Echo unit was a toss-in with my used camper purchase. Had trouble pairing until I enabled location, then has worked flawlessly except for one brief pairing fail requiring a phone reboot. Care must be taken to initialize the device for each use with the trailer hitched and on level ground to level-calibrate correctly! This "portable" controller will come in very handy if I let friends or family borrow the camper. Recommended, though your phone may vary from my experience. | ||

| 2022-10-18 | Functionally, does what it says and technically well. The issue I have is using the app to drive... You need it for the 'panic button'... either in app or BT panic button.. while it works, the app is annoying: 1) doesn't tend to stay loaded/connected when walking away, you have to remember to re-launch, connect it again and test that I'm ready to test brakes -pixel6pro 2) I have to clear multiple 'danger/warning' prompts.. every time. I just want to drive. Should be a 1 time, forever checkbox. | ||

| 2022-09-14 | Just installed today. Too soon to tell yet on all the features. Still learning it. But so far so good. One thing that I did notice, that this app should have, is a way to exit the app through the on screen dashboard. For now, I been having to go into my app settings and do a force stop. Also, the actual controller itself, when installed, tends to bounce around a little. The rubber strap that comes with it is slightly flimsy and wants to slide off. I might go get a velcro strap instead. | ||

| 2022-07-31 | Like others, my Samsung Android phone (new) would not pair or even find the controller. I resorted to grabbing my 3 year old Ipad which saw it and paired instantly. Adjusted levels and went for a 10 minute drive where everything worked well. Unfortunately, this means I'll have to keep the Ipad available whenever I use this unit. Not what I had in mind. | ||

| 2022-07-24 | Great idea but blows. This is the 2nd one we have had. The 1st one craped out after a day so it was replaced. We have had this for 2 years and it works fine without connection to your phone. If you have it set up right while it works. Which is great because it will quit connecting to your phone. It will be in the Bluetooth list and you can pair it but the app can never find it. Software issues that they apparently are never going to fix. Just trash. | ||

| 2022-04-10 | Entirely too many warnings and pop ups. If I'm trying to quickly adjust the gain on my trailer I don't need to click through three different warnings and then wait for the app to reconnect. Half the time when I open the app after a period of idle time, it has to reconnect, exactly what you don't want in an emergency situation. Imagine needing the full brake button and the app isn't connected. This used to be a good system a couple years ago but recent app updates have made it almost useless | ||
