Bugs and instability (crashes/ freezes, features like ANC/ambient mode not working, 'searching for broadcast' issues).
Account/login requirement to use the app blocks access for some users and complicates pairing.

the app won't connect to the headphones ACE3 the headphones are good but due to the horrible app I won't buy another creative product

The sound quality is excellent. The app performance is horrible. It gives wrong battery levels, drops out of Bluetooth sync regularly. Fights like hell to re-sync Bluetooth. There are earbuds on the market that give equal sound quality but much less app hassles. I would not purchase this product again.
