The MotionBlinds Bridge app enables you to control your MotionBlinds motors remotely via your smartphone by connecting a dedicated Wi-Fi bridge device. Set up multiple blinds into rooms and scenes, automate with timers including sunrise/sunset-based schedules, and access your blinds from anywhere. The bridge supports integration with popular smart home ecosystems like Google Assistant, Alexa, and SmartThings, allowing voice control and synchronized automation with other smart devices in your home.

To use, purchase the MotionBlinds Wi-Fi Bridge and pair it with your blinds through the app. You can connect up to 30 blinds per bridge and create up to 20 scenes and timers to suit your lifestyle. The app also allows account sharing for family or friends to manage blinds collaboratively. Though it doesn’t support Apple HomeKit, MotionBlinds Bridge offers extensive smart home compatibility for enhancing convenience and home automation.

Setup was pretty easy.

Cons

App crashes consistently on login.
Long load times and strange errors.
Inconsistent functionality, such as scheduled scenes not working correctly.
Poor customer support and communication.
Frequent connection issues with the bridge and blinds.

Recent reviews

The app is so bad that not even the bridge setup works. It shows an error message (http connection error) and jumps back to the start screen. Utterly dysfunctional. And the app support is apparently inexistent, they don't even respond to emails. Thus, the terrible app makes the motionblinds bridge completely useless.
