Medcare

MedCare is the mobile application (iOS/Android/Web, via Expo) that families use to centralize and organize the health of all their dependents in one place.

Medications

Registration of medications in use, with name, form, frequency, and schedules.

Camera capture of the medicine box/packaging for automatic recognition, with treatment screens for when the product is not identified or is not registered in the database.
Treatment adherence control: marking of doses taken, schedule history, and monitoring of who is up-to-date or behind.

Vaccines

Record of vaccines administered and registration of new doses (including multi-dose schedules).
Vaccination history per family member.

Exams and diagnoses

Upload of exam results and prescriptions (photos from gallery or camera).
Record of diagnoses and clinical follow-up of each dependent.

Family management

One family admin registers and manages multiple members (dependents).

Caregiver Profile: Allows inviting and delegating access to caregivers, who see their own restricted area containing the information necessary for the dependent's care.

Controlled Medical Access (MedicalAccessGrant)

The patient/family generates a temporary 6-8 digit code within the app.

This code is passed to the doctor, who uses it on the web portal to access the patient's medical record in a timely and auditable manner—without needing to share login or password.

This mechanism connects the family app to the portal used by doctors and clinics.

Notifications and Reminders

Push notifications to remind about medication times and other health events.

Account and Access

Family registration and login (with a "forgot my password" flow).

General history of health events, accessible through the "History" tab.

User/family profile with personal data and settings.

Security and Privacy

Sensitive data (CPF, clinical information) is transmitted and stored securely in the platform's shared backend.

Third-party access (doctors, clinics) to the dependent's medical record is always temporary, explicitly authorized by the family via code, and recorded in an audit log.
In short, the app-medcare works like the family's "electronic medical record in their pocket": it allows them to track treatments, vaccines, and exams on a daily basis, share care responsibilities with caregivers, and open a secure and controlled access window for doctors to consult the health history when necessary.
