COMPort Demo — Remote Gateway

COMPort Demo turns your Android phone into a securely managed remote network gateway. From the web panel, support devices that the phone can reach on its connected network and that you are authorized to access. Serial console is now just one tool in the set.

ONE PHONE, A SECURE BRIDGE TO THE REMOTE NETWORK
• Remote screen and control: you start screen sharing on the phone. Nothing is streamed without Android MediaProjection consent and a visible notification. Remote touch and key control requires a separate prominent disclosure and consent.
• Remote web access: open HTTP/HTTPS management pages for authorized routers, access points, cameras, printers, and similar devices reachable by the phone. COMPort does not bypass authentication or network security.
• Modem management: detect the modem, pick its brand/model, and open its web interface. On supported devices, view line, Wi-Fi, connected-device, and system status.
• Network tools: discover neighbors, check ports and connectivity, and combine Wi-Fi, gateway, DNS, internet, and speed findings in one diagnosis.
• SSH, Telnet, and forwarding: open console sessions to authorized network devices and make required services reachable through controlled sessions.
• USB serial console: FTDI, CP210x, CH340, PL2303, and CDC/ACM adapters; 9600–115200 baud and 8N1.
• Hardware-free demo: try serial and network consoles without a cable or real network device.

WEB PANEL AND TEAM WORK
• Organize devices under their user and session; remove your own device or end its connection.
• Message an authorized operator from the app and centrally track supported message and file actions.
• View active sessions, device status, connection history, and permission-scoped audit records.
• Protect the account with email verification, optional TOTP two-factor authentication, and recovery codes.
• Scan the setup QR generated by the panel; server, TLS, and Demo workspace settings are loaded automatically.

YOUR ISOLATED 7-DAY DEMO WORKSPACE
1) Create a free account from the app and verify your email.
2) Scan the QR in panel Settings or enter the workspace token.
3) Try your workspace for 7 days with up to 2 devices. Other Demo users cannot see your devices.

PRO VERSION AND PANEL / BROKER ACCESS
• In-app Pro is a one-time purchase and ONLY lifts the feature limits inside this app (such as daily command, modem interface, network test, and saved server limits).
• The Pro purchase does NOT include access to the web panel or the broker server. The panel and broker are a separate product, sold separately.
• The app works on its own without a panel/broker: serial terminal, modem interface, network tools, and the demo environment are available on the device.
• If you run your own broker server, you connect the app to it; the in-app Pro purchase is not required to connect.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY
The Google Play edition uses TLS-encrypted WSS-only broker connections. A device is authenticated with its hardware key and your private workspace token. Remote access works only while the app is online, the relevant feature is enabled, and required user permissions have been granted.

COMPort Demo is not an accessibility tool. AccessibilityService is used only to apply user-approved remote-support touch/key input and transfer text selected by the user for copy and paste. It can be revoked in Android Settings.
