SpineTender is a warm and inviting book swap tracker designed for small reading groups, little free library stewards, and friends who love trading paperbacks. The app gives you a simple way to log every book that changes hands, including the title, who brought it, a quick note on its physical condition, and the date of the exchange. All your records live securely on your device, so you can track swaps anywhere without an internet connection or an account. The Home tab welcomes you with at-a-glance totals for all books swapped and the number of unique friends in your circle, along with the three most recent entries. A large New Swap button takes you straight to the form where you can capture a fresh exchange in seconds. The Shelf tab displays your entire collection as a visual library of book spines, with titles running vertically, a name tag on the cover, and a tiny bookmark ribbon showing the condition. From there you can edit any detail, delete a record, or search for a specific title or friend using the built-in search bar. The Swap tab provides a clean, distraction-free form with fields for title, friend name, condition note, and a date picker, with gentle validation that ensures the required details are complete before saving. Every swap you record immediately updates the counters and recent list on Home, so your summary is always current. On the People tab, you will find a corkboard of handwritten-style sticky notes, each displaying a friend’s name and the number of books they have contributed. Tapping any note instantly filters the Shelf to show only that person’s books, making it easy to see who brought what over time. The app’s earth-toned palette, canvas textures, and stamped library label details create a cozy, real-world feel that fits right into your reading nook. Because your data stays local, your swap history remains private and always accessible offline.
