Clerks doesn't store your books. We don't keep a mirror database, we don't sync a copy of your data, and we don't cache your transactions on our servers. Every time you ask Clerks something, our intelligence will simply read it directly from QuickBooks in real time — and every action you take posts directly back. Your books live in one place: QuickBooks.

Clerks connects through Intuit's official OAuth flow. Your QuickBooks credentials are never stored. All data in transit is encrypted.
