SARAN — Reporting System for SUTERM

SARAN is the official app of Section 114 of SUTERM (the Mexican Electrical Workers Union) for quickly, efficiently, and securely submitting work reports with supporting evidence.

With SARAN, every affiliated worker can report a malfunction, missing tool, or training need in minutes, attaching photos and the exact location. The General Secretary receives each report instantly and tracks it until it is resolved, keeping everyone informed.

What can you do with SARAN?

• Submit reports of malfunctions, missing tools, and training needs from your phone.

• Attach photos as evidence directly from your camera.

• Record the GPS location of the malfunction with a single tap.

• Capture the vehicle or unit details and the department involved.

• Check the status of your reports: in progress, resolved, or rejected.

• Receive notifications when your report's status changes or when you receive feedback.
• Work offline: Your reports are saved on your device and automatically sync when internet access is restored.

Designed for fieldwork

SARAN works even where the signal is weak: it first saves everything to your device and syncs in the background as soon as a network connection is available. This way, you never lose a report, even if you're in an area without coverage.

Secure and controlled access

SARAN is an internal tool for the exclusive use of workers affiliated with SUTERM-Section 114. Registration requires an account authorized by the General Secretary, and information is transmitted encrypted and securely stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. Each user only sees and modifies the information relevant to their role.

Privacy

SARAN only collects the data necessary for its function (account, reports, photos, and location when creating a report) and does not share it with third parties or use it for advertising purposes. You can delete your account and data at any time from the app.
