April Buff

April Buff is an innovative AR-based vocabulary study and quiz app designed for elementary school students following the April English curriculum. The app incorporates augmented reality technology to create engaging vocabulary games, helping students learn key words effectively. Through interactive games like Slime Time, Dungeon Escape, and Drone High, children can collect word and chunk cards, preparing for weekly and monthly English tests.

Users begin by scanning their textbooks and use the AR camera to interact with vocabulary challenges. April Buff also features national ranking systems to motivate learners and is linked to a Learning Portal for extended support. To use the app, students must have the April Gallery Book. Optional permissions enhance experience but the app remains functional without them, making vocabulary practice both fun and accessible.
