Buff: Word Power

Buff: Word Power is a gamified vocabulary trainer built for students at Cheongdam Language Institute and April α Language Academy. The app syncs with i-Learning/p-Learning and Ministry-designated word lists so learners can train, prepare for vocabulary tests, and review previously learned words via a searchable vocabulary book. Progress is tracked by mastered-word counts and compared with the top 10% of learners to motivate improvement.

Designed for phones and tablets, Buff: Word Power offers character customization, leveling mechanics, and collectible auras that unlock as users memorize more words. Access is restricted to enrolled students, providing a focused, school-specific study experience that combines test prep, spaced review, and gamified rewards to boost vocabulary retention.
