Chef Hygiene: Food Safety

Chef Hygiene keeps your kitchen's food safety records in one simple app, so you are ready when the inspector calls.

Made for restaurants and takeaways in 50 countries across the UK, Europe and North America. The checks follow the food safety rules of your own country, in your own language.

DAILY CHECKS, DONE QUICKLY
• Opening and closing checks, with a clear list for each day
• Fridge and freezer temperatures in seconds: type them or say them
• Cooking, cooling, reheating and hot-holding temperatures, with the time and the person's name
• Deliveries, cleaning, batches and sanitiser checks
• Photos as proof, and notes in the language your staff speak, with an English copy

YOUR WHOLE TEAM
• Put the app on staff phones with a code or a QR code: no passwords
• Or share one kitchen tablet: each person taps their name and types their PIN
• Give each person their own jobs
• Training records with certificates, and staff illness and return-to-work records

READY FOR YOUR INSPECTION
• See what the inspector will look for, and what is still missing
• Practise with a free walk round like an inspector's, and see your likely rating
• Or let the AI inspector look at photos of your kitchen and ask your chef questions, then write your report (£0.99 each time)
• Work towards a top hygiene rating with your scores and the inspector's list
• Download your records as one pack, or share them with a secure link and QR code

ALLERGENS AND SAFETY
• All 14 allergens, dish by dish, so you can answer customers with confidence
• Clear steps for fire, gas, leaks and injuries, and who to call
• Fire safety checks and guidance

AND MORE
• Several sites, managers and owners in one account
• Notifications when checks are done, when a check fails, and when opening checks are late
• Bring in your old paper records with the built-in scanner
• Works without internet, and sends your checks when you are back online
• In 36 languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Urdu and Chinese
