Not only does the app allow you to safely stand back from hazardous situations like arc flash, it also provides you with one of the most powerful documentation tools you will ever need. The app lets you record and graph measured values, set high or low alarms, attach notes, pictures, and even a GPS location to your measurements. You can choose to use any combination of these features to customize a complete report about your job and email it back to the office with the press of a button.

The amount of permission this app requires is absolutely astonishing. Declining any permissions disables the entire app. Sure, I don't have anything on my phone to hide. And sure, "they" might already have my info. But I will not lick the boots of a corporation for a multimeter that locks features behind some nifty little app who's Chinese developers have failed to translate an error message. This is a company sells copper wire and tools. Oh, and your personal data, too.
