A centralized Demographics Database Application with a Geo-tagging facility has been developed by CDAC, Kolkata for weavers of BTC, Assam region. The database, accessible through web and mobile
apps, provides detailed demographic data, aiding government planning, targeted interventions, and
access to finance. It identifies skill development needs for tailored programs, fostering sectoral growth
and market competitiveness
