Catculator

Catculator is a real calculator with a real cat living inside it.

Do ordinary maths — add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages — while a cat watches from the top of the screen. Its eyes follow your cursor. It blinks. It flicks its tail. It gets cross if you divide by zero, and celebrates when you get a result. Leave it alone for 45 seconds and it falls asleep. Tap it and it purrs.

SCIENTIFIC MODE
Tap the microscope and the whole calculator opens up:
• Trigonometry: sin, cos, tan and their inverses, with a DEG/RAD switch
• Logarithms ln and log, plus e^x and 10^x
• Powers and roots: x², x³, x^y, √, ∛, 1/x
• Constants π and e, factorial n!, absolute value, modulo, EXP notation
• Ans to reuse your last result
• Full memory: MC, MR, M+, M−, MS, with an on-screen indicator
• Brackets, correct order of operations, and a live preview while you type
• Exact fractions: 2÷8 becomes 1/4 with one tap

UNIT CONVERTER
Length, weight, temperature, volume and speed. Metric and imperial. Tap the result to drop it straight into the calculator.

SHOPPING MODE
• Discounts: what you actually pay, and how much you saved
• VAT both ways — add it on, or strip it out of a price that already includes it

• Currency converter with 11 currencies. The rates are yours to edit and they work offline, and the app tells you how long ago you last updated each one

NOTEPAD
Jot down sums, lists or ideas. Drop the number on screen into your notes with one tap. It saves itself.

STUDY MODE
The cat asks, you answer. Addition, subtraction, times tables and division, getting harder as your streak grows. It remembers your record.

HISTORY
Your last 40 calculations. Tap any of them to bring the number back.
