Most simple calculators evaluate left to right and give wrong answers. This one uses a real expression parser that respects the correct order of operations and parentheses, so 2 + 2 × 2 = 6 (not 8) and (2 + 2) × 2 = 8. You also see a live preview of the result as you type.
