Cashtra

Cashtra is a mobile application developed in React Native that offers an environmental intelligence platform to connect waste generators (individuals or legal entities) with individual waste pickers and recycling cooperatives. The application facilitates communication, connection, and management of recyclable material collections, promoting a more efficient and sustainable circular economy.

The platform acts exclusively as a technological intermediary, not carrying out the collection, transportation, storage, treatment, or recycling of waste. The app uses WebView to provide a native experience integrated with the Cashtra web platform, ensuring quick and secure access to waste management functionalities.

Developed with React Native 0.82.1 and React 19.1.1, the application offers full support for Android and iOS, with a responsive interface optimized for mobile devices. The application implements SafeAreaView to ensure compatibility with different screen sizes and devices with notches, in addition to supporting native features such as inline media playback.

Cashtra contributes to environmental sustainability by facilitating the connection between those who generate waste and those who recycle it, promoting the proper disposal of materials and strengthening the recycling chain in Brazil.
