BromBrom Manager

🚗 Navigating a 45 km/h microcar (brommobiel) in the Netherlands can be tricky. Standard navigation apps often guide you onto motorways, expressways, or roads closed to microcars (Dutch C9 traffic signs).

BromBrom Manager is the ultimate companion app for microcar drivers, designed to download, install, and automatically update custom microcar navigation packages directly inside the OsmAnd app.

■ How does BromBrom work?
BromBrom programmatically bakes microcar access rules into the road network. It fuses OpenStreetMap (OSM) data with official live traffic sign data from the Dutch National Road Data Portal (NDW). Prohibited roads (C9 signs, motorways) are hard-filtered by the routing engine so you never get routed into dangerous or illegal traffic.

■ Key Features:
• Custom Microcar Routing: Built specifically for L6e microcars / brommobielen (45 km/h vehicles).
• C9 Sign & Motorway Filtering: Automatically avoids roads closed to microcars while respecting legal exemptions (OB65).
• Quiet & Scenic Routes: Built-in "Avoid busy roads" toggle to bypass heavy arterial traffic and cruise calmly along rural back roads.
• Fresh Weekly Updates: Automated builds compiled fresh every Monday morning. The app alerts you whenever a new package is ready.
• Turn-by-Turn Navigation: Full voice guidance, lane assistance, and Android Auto support (via OsmAnd Pro).
• 100% Offline Navigation: Navigate nationwide without mobile data consumption.
• Privacy-First: No ads, no background tracking, no account registration required.

■ How to get started:
1. Install the free OsmAnd app on your device.
2. Open BromBrom Manager and tap "OPEN OSMAND" to forward the update.
3. In OsmAnd, check both "Settings" and "Resources", tap "Continue", then tap "Replace all" (or "Apply").
4. First-time setup: Open OsmAnd Menu → Settings → Configure profiles → enable "BromBrom" (orange icon) and disable standard car profiles.
5. Select BromBrom and navigate with peace of mind!

⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER & SCOPE
• BromBrom is a planning aid. Physical road signs and Dutch traffic laws always take precedence over navigation instructions.
• Tailored strictly for 45 km/h microcars (L6e). Not designed for mobility scooters (scootmobielen) or pavement/cycle-path vehicles.
