Complete failure of corporate transparency. Betterment hid the full extent of a massive data breach involving 1.4M users and the ShinyHunters group. Instead of sending transparent statutory notices to everyone affected, they intentionally withheld direct alerts from users categorized as "basic contact data," leaving us blind while our leaked phone numbers and emails were actively targeted with extortion schemes. They only admitted exposure when directly confronted. Total breach of trust

Great service and easy to use! I've been happy with the returns on general, bond and technical portfolios. The returns are on the high side of their forecast. I like the nice interest rate in cash savings and customer service is quite good. Downfalls are no Zelle and no customer service on the weekend and they won't do more than $2000 on a debit transaction.
