Bar Prep: Batch Calculator

Stop running bar prep from napkin math, scattered recipes, and last-minute shortage calls.

Bar Prep is a cocktail batch calculator and shift-planning command center for bartenders, bar managers, beverage directors, caterers, and event teams. Add your menu and expected covers, then turn them into a practical production plan for service.

PLAN THE WHOLE SHIFT
• Start with covers, menu specs, and expected drink demand
• See readiness, prep remaining, costing coverage, and the next best move
• Use a live 86 and low-stock board to catch shortages before service
• Enter on-hand amounts with fast par checks and keep affected drinks visible

BATCH COCKTAILS WITHOUT GUESSWORK
• Scale cocktails by drink count or available bottles
• Convert oz, mL, liters, bottles, handles, cups, quarts, and gallons
• Calculate bottle pulls, total yield, dilution water, and estimated ABV
• Keep fresh juice and carbonated ingredients marked for service
• Save batches and reuse proven production plans

TURN YOUR MENU INTO A PREP LIST
• Paste menu text or add house specs manually
• Use supported photo and voice entry to reduce retyping
• Link syrups, cordials, juices, and other house prep to the drinks that use them
• Turn forecast drink counts into ingredient and house-prep requirements

PROTECT MARGIN
• Save real package prices and usable-yield percentages
• Calculate recipe cost, pour cost, and gross profit against your selling price
• Roll house-prep costs into finished drinks
• See price-change alerts when ingredient costs move

RUN A CLEANER HANDOFF
• Track prep completion during the shift
• Create prep labels and record production lots
• Use venue-approved shelf-life rules and freshness tracking
• Share the whole prep, remaining work, ingredients, garnishes, or a manager summary
• Keep the screen awake in work mode while the core workflow runs locally

LEARN FROM SERVICE
After service, record whether you ran out, landed about right, or made too much. Bar Prep uses that local feedback to improve future shift recommendations without requiring a complicated inventory system.

FREE TO START, SIMPLE TO OWN
Use the core prep workflow free. An optional one-time Pro unlock adds unlimited recipes, costing, photo entry, and voice entry without requiring a subscription. Photo and voice availability depends on device support.

Bar Prep is built for operational planning. Always follow your venue's approved food-safety procedures, manufacturer guidance, and local regulations.
