Customer Book – Credit Ledger

Customer Book is a ledger for the money your customers owe you. Who owes what, what they paid, when they last paid it — written down properly, on your own phone.

Bought once. No subscription, no ads, and every feature is on from the first launch.

WHAT IT DOES

• Customers — name, phone, alternate phone, email, company, address. Search matches any of them, and phone search ignores spaces, dashes and country codes, so 9847011223 finds +91 98470-11223.
• A real ledger — record a charge when they owe more, a payment when they pay. Balances are always worked out from those entries, so your history and your totals can never disagree. "Settle up" records a payment for exactly what is outstanding.
• Pending, Settled, In advance — a customer who overpays holds credit rather than breaking your figures.
• Overdue — anyone pending whose account has had no activity for 30 days is flagged, so quiet debts stop hiding.
• Classifications — group customers as Regular, VIP, Wholesale, Defaulter, or anything you define, each with its own colour.
• Notes — as many per customer as you like, dated, with the standing ones pinned to the top. "Pays on the 5th." "Always disputes delivery charges."
• Reminders — swipe a row to open WhatsApp with the reminder already written, or to record a payment pre-filled with the outstanding amount.
• PDF statements — a printable statement of account per customer, with the full ledger and a running balance, shared through the normal share sheet.
• Reports — what you collected and billed over any period, compared with the period before it, plus what is outstanding right now.
• Daily summaries — an optional morning look-ahead and evening look-back. Both times are yours to set, and the app shows you the exact wording before you agree to receive it.
• App lock — an optional PIN, with fingerprint or face on top of it once the PIN exists.
• Import from your contacts — fill in a new customer without retyping a number you already have.
• Backup and restore — export the whole book as a CSV that opens in any spreadsheet. Import merges intelligently: add only what is new, overwrite matches, or replace the book.
• Light and dark themes, and eleven currencies including the rupee.

YOUR CUSTOMERS' DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

This app has no internet permission at all. Android itself will not let it open a network connection, so nothing you write in it can be uploaded — not to me, not to anyone. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no ad code and no cloud sync.

That is a deliberate choice. A customer book is a list of other people's names, numbers and debts. Those people never agreed to anything with me, so none of it is sent to me. Your phone's own backup can restore the book to a new phone, and the CSV export is there for anything deliberate.
