From exchange rates and taxi cards to Chinese conversation, settlements, and memos, bring all your essential Taiwan travel tools offline.
We have gathered all the things you always wished were missing during your trip to Taiwan into one app.
Currency calculator, Chinese address cards to show taxi drivers, Chinese conversation practice, travel expense settlement, and travel memos.
You can use it entirely for free, without any sign-ups, ads, or payments.
■ Currency Calculation — To avoid confusion with Taiwan Dollars
· Displays three columns for Taiwan Dollars (NT$), Won (₩), and Dollars ($) together. The remainder is calculated together regardless of which column you enter.
· For large amounts, it reads them out in Korean, such as "= 50,000 Taiwan Dollars," so you don't have to count zeros.
· Displays rates based on the cash buying rate (+3%) to be closer to the actual price you would pay at an exchange office.
· Exchange rates are only fetched anew when you press the [Update] button; previously received values are saved, allowing you to calculate them even on an airplane or in places without data.
· Displays the current time in Korea and Taiwan side-by-side at the very top of the screen. (Taiwan is 1 hour behind Korea.)
■ Taxi Card — Communicate your destination even if you can't speak the language
· When you select your destination, the Traditional Chinese address and a request message appear in large, full-screen text.
Simply show this to the driver.
· 209 locations across 12 regions, including Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Hualien, and Taitung, are included in the region tabs. This includes airports, train stations, night markets, hot springs, and famous tourist attractions.
· You can search by Korean, Chinese, or English name. It treats the characters 臺 and 台, which are often mixed in Taiwanese addresses, as the same character for searching, and does not distinguish between uppercase and lowercase for English names.
· You can save your accommodation address so you can retrieve it all at once when returning,
or open it directly on Google Maps.
· You can pin frequently visited areas to the left side of the tab.
■ Chinese Conversation — Instantly when you need it
· Contains 128 sentences organized into ten situations, including greetings, restaurants/night markets, drinks/bubble tea, shopping/convenience stores, taxis, MRT/trains, hotels/minshuku, room issues,
and even numbers.
· You can tap a sentence to display it in full screen to show the other person,
and Korean pronunciation is included, making it easy to read aloud.
· You can create your own custom lists by adding the sentences you need.
■ Travel Settlement — Neatly with travel companions
· Create as many groups as you want, such as family, friends, or teams, and simply check "who paid and who splits the cost" for each expense.
· It offers proportional settlement based on the number of people, and automatically converts money spent in Taiwan Dollars mixed with Korean Won and US Dollars.
· Finally, it tells you "who needs to send how much to whom" using the method with the fewest transfers.
■ Travel Notes — Things to Remember
· You can jot down your flight details, accommodation reservation numbers, and notes you might need.
· When you first open it, a travel preparation form is included, so you won't feel lost about what to write.
■ Works Without Internet
It only uses the internet to retrieve new exchange rates; all other functions operate offline.
You can immediately open Taxi Card and Conversation even if you land at the airport without roaming or a SIM card.
■ No Personal Information Collected
· There is no registration required. We do not ask for your name or email address.
· All notes, locations, and settlement details you enter are stored only on your mobile phone and are not sent to a server.
· There are no advertisements or ad tracking.
· When you want to transfer data to another device, we create a backup text file and send it directly via KakaoTalk or similar services,
so the transfer process does not go through us. ■ Recommended for:
· Those worried about taking taxis because it is their first time in Taiwan
· Those who find calculating in Taiwan Dollars confusing and constantly turn on a calculator
· Those traveling with family or friends who need to split the bill later
