From exchange rates and taxi cards to Japanese conversation, settlements, and memos, bring all your essential tools for traveling in Japan offline.
We have gathered all the things you always wished were missing during your trips to Japan into one app.
Exchange rate calculator, Japanese address cards to show taxi drivers, Japanese conversation practice, travel expense settlement, and travel memos.
You can use it entirely for free, without any sign-ups, ads, or payments.
■ Exchange Rate Calculation — To avoid confusion with the Yen
· Displays three columns for Yen (¥), Won (₩), and Dollar ($) together. The remainder is calculated together regardless of which column you enter the amount into.
· For large amounts, it reads them out in Korean, such as "approx. 500,000 Yen," so you don't have to count zeros.
· Displays rates based on the cash buying rate (+3%) to be closer to the actual price you would pay at an exchange office.
· Exchange rates are retrieved only when you press the [Update] button; previously retrieved values are saved, allowing you to calculate them even on an airplane or in places without data.
· Displays the current time in Korea and Japan side-by-side at the top of the screen. (There is no time difference between the two countries.)
■ Taxi Card — Communicate your destination even if you can't speak the language
· When you select your destination, the Japanese address and a request message appear in large font in full screen.
You can simply show this to the driver.
· 197 locations across 12 regions, including Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Okinawa, are included in the region tabs.
This includes airports, train stations, markets, hot springs, and famous tourist attractions.
· You can search by Korean or Japanese names. Even if you type in Katakana, it finds the corresponding Hiragana,
and English names are searchable regardless of capitalization.
· You can save your accommodation address so you can retrieve it instantly when returning,
and you can also open it directly on Google Maps.
· You can pin frequently visited areas to the left side of the tab.
■ Japanese Conversation — Instantly when you need it
· Includes 110 sentences organized into nine situations, ranging from greetings, restaurants, shopping/duty-free, taxis, trains, hotels/ryokans, room issues, emergencies, and even numbers.
· You can tap a sentence to display it in full screen to show the other person,
and Korean pronunciation is included, making it easy to read aloud.
· You can create your own custom lists by adding the sentences you need.
■ Travel Settlement — Neatly with travel companions
· Create as many groups as you want, such as family, friends, or teams, and simply check "who paid and who splits the bill" for each expense.
· It offers proportional settlement based on the number of people, and automatically converts money spent in Yen mixed with Won/Dollar.
· Finally, it tells you "who needs to send how much to whom" using the method with the fewest transfers.
■ Travel Notes — Things to remember
· You can jot down flight details, accommodation reservation numbers, and notes on things you might want to buy. · When you first open it, it comes with a travel preparation form, so you won't feel lost about what to fill out.
■ Works without Internet
It only uses the internet to retrieve new exchange rates; all other functions operate offline.
You can immediately open Taxi Card and Conversation even if you land at the airport without roaming or a SIM card.
■ No Personal Information Collected
· There is no membership registration. We do not ask for your name or email address.
· All notes, locations, and settlement details you enter are stored only on your mobile phone and are not sent to a server.
· There are no advertisements or ad tracking.
· When you want to transfer to another device, we create a backup text and send it directly via KakaoTalk, etc., so the transfer does not go through us at all.
■ Recommended for:
· Those worried about taking taxis because it is their first time in Japan
· Those who find Yen calculations confusing and constantly turn on a calculator
· Those traveling with family or friends who need to split the bill later
