WeCare is a smartphone app developed by the Korean Community Center of the East Bay (KCCEB). It is designed to support limited English proficient (LEP) Chinese caregivers who care for elderly family members with dementia. The app addresses situationally-induced trauma and promotes caregiver mental health.

-User assessment at enrollment
-Creation of a personalized care plan
-Promotion of caregiver resources and supports
User Permissions:
1. Location Access
WeCare requests access to your location to recommend nearby services and resources. These are available in the "Resources" section of the app.
2. Notifications (Max 1 per day)
Daily notifications help users stick to their care plan and remind them to engage in pleasant activities that support mental well-being.
Users are asked about their mood each day to track progress and burnout levels.
We strictly limit notifications to one per day.
