GitNotes is a local-first Markdown note-taking app. Your notes are saved as standard Markdown files in your own Git repository, allowing for offline editing and syncing to GitHub, GitLab, your own Git service, or your local repository as needed.

It's suitable for developers, technical writers, and heavy Markdown users: writing code notes, organizing technical documentation, recording project solutions, and maintaining a personal knowledge base, all without being bound to platform-specific formats.

Main Features:

* Git Repository Notes: Create local repositories or clone remote repositories via HTTPS/SSH. Notes, images, and directory structures are all stored in the repository, facilitating maintenance across devices and tools.

* Markdown Editing and Preview: Supports common Markdown writing features such as headings, lists, task lists, quotations, code blocks, tables, charts, images, date and time insertion, and in-text search. Markdown preview can be switched, and Mermaid chart preview is supported.

* Images and Attachments: Insert images from your album, camera, or clipboard. Images are written to the repository's media/image directory and referenced in Markdown. Image compression strategies can be used to reduce repository size.

* Local Priority, Sync with Internet Access: Write even without a network connection. During sync, local changes are automatically committed, remote updates are pulled, and pushed to the remote repository.

* Conflict Handling: When sync conflicts occur, Git notes mark the conflicts and provide a conflict list entry for easy review and resolution.

* Multiple Repositories and Organizations: Supports repository management, folder browsing, breadcrumb navigation, search, favorites, recently modified, recently deleted, and repository data export.

* Local Security: Supports app passwords and quick unlocking with Face ID or Touch ID.
