I've been using the app for three years and seven months. I schedule charging to start and finish according to the cheap night rates, and it has always functioned perfectly. The Andersen2 is located 40 meters from the router, so I use a powerline extender. If the internet connectivity drops, I get a phone notification, and the Andersen2 powers on, but it resumes the schedule once the connection is restored. Good connectivity and phone set up are critical to the system working correctly.

I've had various issues with this app and charger from settings changes not being stored reliably to disabling itself each night after a charge to missing notifications. But I have to admit with some hand-holding I've always got my car charged when I needed to. The app lets down an otherwise premium product. Update May 2024: it has been much more stable and reliable recently. The app could be slicker but does its job.
