Ampchor

Ampchor plays the media you already own. Pair the app with the Ampchor desktop app on your computer and your whole collection appears on your phone: movies and shows with artwork and episode lists, music with full-screen playback, audiobooks and podcasts that remember your place, ebooks and comics with a proper reader, your photos and home videos, and your game library, playable right on the phone.

On Android TV and Google TV the same library is on the big screen, with a remote-friendly layout and AmpTV, a TV guide of channels made from your own films and shows.

At home it plays over your own Wi-Fi. Away from home it reaches your computer over the internet with Pro, so a long flight or a hotel room still has your library.

What you get
• Movies and shows: posters, descriptions, seasons and episodes, subtitles, resume where you left off
• Music: albums, artists, playlists, lyrics and a now-playing screen made for the lock screen
• Audiobooks and podcasts: chapters, speed control, sleep timer, your place kept across devices
• Books and comics: a page-turning reader for ebooks and a panel-friendly reader for comics
• Photos and home videos: your camera roll's forever home, browsable by date and album
• Games: your own game files, streamed from your computer with a controller or on-screen controls
• Short videos: the clips you saved, in a swipe feed, ad-free

Made for people, not advertisers
Ampchor never shows ads, never tracks you and never sells anything about you. Your files stay on your computer. The app only ever talks to the computer you paired it with.

Getting started
1. Install Ampchor on your Mac, Windows or Linux computer from ampchor.com and point it at your folders.
2. Open this app and scan the code your computer shows, or enter an invite code.
3. That's it. Your library is on your phone.

Ampchor Pro (optional) adds access away from home. Everything at home is free.
