Pod App: Offline Media Player

Pod App is an offline music and video player for media already stored on your device. After you grant media access, Pod App scans the shared audio and video library so you can browse, organize, and play your media in one place. Your files are not uploaded or shared.

MUSIC LIBRARY

Browse your on-device library by songs, artists, albums, playlists, compilations, composers, genres, podcasts, audiobooks, and other available media categories. Search an individual list or your complete library, choose from 31 sorting modes, and turn your device sideways to browse albums in a flowing artwork view.

PLAYLISTS AND ORGANIZATION

Create and edit playlists stored by Pod App, import or export compatible device playlists, mark favorites, rate tracks, and build smart mixes from music in your library. Pod App also keeps local play counts, recently played history, and listening history to support sorting and organization.

MUSIC PLAYBACK

Play songs with queue management, shuffle, repeat, seeking, volume control, artwork, and Now Playing controls. Playback can continue in the background using the device media service, with notification, lock-screen, headset, and audio-focus controls. You can also select an available audio output.

VIDEO PLAYBACK

The Videos tab automatically indexes videos in the shared device library so you can browse, sort, select, and play locally stored videos. Full video-library access is needed for automatic indexing; selecting one file at a time would not provide the library-browsing feature. Supported external displays can present video on a connected screen.

PERSONALIZATION

Configure the main navigation tabs, choose light or dark appearance, use swipe-back navigation, and adjust haptic feedback settings.

PRIVACY AND MEDIA ACCESS

Pod App requests audio and video access only to find and play media stored on your device. Media files are not uploaded, sold, or shared. App-created playlists, ratings, play counts, and listening history remain in Pod App's private storage unless you explicitly use a playlist import or export action.

Pod App does not provide, stream, download, or sell music or videos. It plays media that you already have on your device. Pod App is an independent product and is not affiliated with any device manufacturer or media service.
