For Life After Divorce & Separation

Features & Capabilities

One of the biggest adjustments you and your ex will make when you separate is the transition from parent to co-parent. We know co-parenting isn’t easy. But we also know you want to minimise the impact of your separation on your children, and you want them to thrive. That’s why we have designed our app with the help of experts and co-parents themselves to bring you tools and advice to make co-parenting simpler, more organised and better for your children.

The amicable® co-parenting app uses beautifully designed tools to help you manage all aspects of co-parenting in one secure place, making parenting after divorce and separation simpler.

amicable® is a multi-award-winning online service helping support people faced with divorce, separation and co-parenting. We are proud to be the UK’s most trusted online divorce service (source TrustPilot). amicable has been featured in the biggest names in British media including The Times, BBC, Telegraph and the Guardian.

Features include:
SHARED CO-PARENTING CALENDAR
amicable’s shared parenting family calendar helps separated or divorced parents keep track of individual and shared events including school drop offs and pickups, dental and medical appointments and school holiday activities.  Use the shared care schedules for guidance and examples of typical ways to share the care of your children and ensure they spend time with both of you.
CO-PARENTING GOALS
Set private goals and shared the goal with your ex-partner to keep you both focussed on the future and able to manage each other’s co-parenting expectations.  Use the pre-filled suggestions on the most common parenting topics or create your own bespoke goals unique to your family set-up.

SECURE PRIVATE MESSAGING
Secure inbuilt messaging function to communicate with your co-parent on all aspects of parenting.  Includes pre-defined chat topics as helpful prompts from other co-parents or create your own. Keep track of the conversations with your ex-partner. Unlike most messaging tools, messages are time stamped and can’t be deleted.

INVITE YOUR EX
As soon as your account is created, you’ll be prompted to invite your co-parent. As soon as your ex-partner has downloaded the app you will be able to take advantage of all the co-parenting tools above.

REGULAR CO-PARENTING ADVICE VIA EMAIL
You have the option to subscribe to amicable’s co-parenting newsletter and receive support on how to co-parent effectively from divorced and separated parents who have ‘been there’. Typical topics include: how to introduce new partners to your children, how to organise your children’s birthday party with your ex, co-parenting at Christmas etc.
