2025-01-21 | No other app comes close, AIMP ticks ALL of my boxes, and has extra bells and whistles on top of my minimum requirements. One of which is an inbuilt preamp! So when your earphones top out at max volume you can keep cranking them further! Really really customizable function and aesthetic wise. Thank you AIMP. I used Pi music player for more than 10 years but it wont read some of my playlists anymore. This is looking like a big upgrade so far :)
2025-01-15 | Hands down the best free audio player available. The devs constantly update to fix whatever problems may occur ( like the random mute situation. (Thanks 4 the fix.)) .has an easy to use interface and equalizer. I just wish I can change the theme color. Orange isn't bad but can I have some 🟣 purple or red maybe 🤔
2025-01-15 | This is a very good implementation of the original AMP music player. One functionality I badly Miss. When I come back, reopen the player, the last played song is visible. It would be nice from there to go back to the folder where it came from, and also backup further in the folder tree. Perhaps there is a way to do this already and I may be missing the how to?
2025-01-06 | After weeks of searching, I finally found this player, which has all the features I have been looking for. One improvement I could suggest would be to add album arts to tracks in playlists, so finding songs would be much more intuitive and less straining on the eye.
2025-01-03 | Please add bit-perfect playback ability to this great app. AIMP has been my favorite player. I have used it for the longest time. But, I wish it had bit-perfect playback ability with external DACs. For lack thereof, I now have to use other players. The moment this app utilizes the USB bit-perfect feature, I'll be happily back to using it again.
2025-01-02 | Good player. The only things it's lacking is: 1. the ability for its alphabetical sorting to ignore words like "the" because right now that basically creates a second mini alphabet in the T section. 2. The ability to start or stop a song at a certain point in the track in order to avoid excessively long intros and outros.
2024-12-24 | Phenomenal music player. everything from adding music to playlists to fiddling with the 20-band equalizer was really easy for me to figure out. one feature I love is that there are built in equalizer presets for each genre of music, and almost all of them sound amazing. another amazing feature is the community-made skins you can apply to the UI, which makes the experience 100x better and more pleasing. the app is also doesn't use a lot of resources, so it doesn't lag on lower end devices. 10/10.
2024-12-19 | I used Google Play Music until they Old Yeller'd it, this is the only replacement I've been able to tolerate. My only complaint is that I can't seem to give it permission to edit metadata of songs, it keeps saying I need to choose a different folder from where all my music is stored. Other than that, great music player.
2024-12-09 | Excellent. After experimenting with multiple music player apps (none of which would work right), this was the only one that actually did what I needed it to do. However, I would like to suggest 1.) an option to modify the app logo to better emphasize that it is a music player, and 2.) improvements to the widget, which is abnormally small and difficult to use.
2024-11-27 | Exceptional. I was looking for a low profile app that actually randomized songs. The hunt went on for about six months before finding AIMP and I haven't looked back. These folks know how to keep the app from bloating and the features succinct. Very thankful to have found them. Keep up the good work! |
